I have been painting quite a bit on location here in NC, because we have had some really nice weather. Recently a small group of locals and I decided to have a shot at this old home in Fletcher, not too far from where I live. It's a great old house, one of the oldest in the town, I'm told. We had a lot of fun, and everyone turned out a pretty good painting.  I am a member of Western NC Plein Air Painters, a wonderful collection of artists, and a new source of friends.  Everyone needs friends.            Mike
