I am going to just write a few lines today.  I have been goofing off, doing everything but painting, and I'm afraid I'm going to use up all my paintings if I keep showing one a day.  Tomorrow, I will post another work, and will get back to my easel.  Hope everyone is happy, and everyone else is working.   Mike

Long day ahead

Today I am forced to deal with computer work and will not get to pick up a brush.  I have been using a very old and inexpensive photo editing application for years, and I finally acquired Photoshop Elements.   I am going to watch a "how to" CD, read a "how to" book, and generally try to be able to handle it.   From a cursory glance it seems idiot proof and a marvelous program.  Having dealt with computers for a while, I feel sure I will find a way to screw it up.  You all have a nice day!           Mike     

Just talk

Just a quick note so you'll know I'm still around.   I'm trying to finish a large painting for an upcoming show here in NC, so I won't bother with an image for today's post.   I'm doing a 16"x20" canvas of boats in a Northern Cal. Harbor.   Tomorrow I'll probably put up a small auction painting.       Have a nice day.      Mike
